Team

Auresine is an effect of a long term collaboration of Dr Izabela Sabala and Prof. Matthias Bochtler from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, Poland. Since the determination of the crystal structure in 2004 the enzyme was extensively engineered and tested in order to increase its anti-staphylococcal performance at wide range of temperatures and low conductivity conditions. Over time we have gained a lot of experience in fast manipulation of Auresine and its adaptation to various applications.

Auresine team:

Izabela Sabała, project leader
Elżbieta Jagielska, senior researcher
Piotr Małecki, postdoc
Justyna Czarnecka, laboratory support specialist
Paweł Mitkowski, PhD student
Alicja Wysocka, PhD student
Weronika Augustyniak, research assistant
Paulina Brodacka, graduate student
Łukasz Łężniak, graduate student

Our R&D team is continuously working on novel applications of Auresine within joint collaboration programs. We are also open to new ideas of the adaptation of Auresine applicability in area of your interest.
